Junior Alex Damonte is beginning her first year with the Californian Paper and is looking forward to learning more about the journalistic process and interviewing people with unique stories to tell. This year, she hopes to improve her writing skills and meet new people. In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym, thrifting, and going to concerts with her friends. Alex has two cats named Luke and Luisa that roam around her neighborhood and brawl with other cats (they have an underground fight club).
