Money first, love second

Valentine’s Day is extremely important, I mean what other day reminds us of our l

Valentine’s Day is the most wonderful day of the year! It’s been another great day all about love and affection.

Gosh, have I mentioned how great love is? How positively, absolutely amazing and wonderful it truly is? Have I? Well buckle up boys and girls because I’m gonna tell you why yesterday was a great day full of love and tenderness.

Yesterday all you believers and non-believers will have fallen under the wondrous spell that is Cupid’s arrow.

People have yet to truly understand what is so marvelous about this most precious day. Cynics, every one of them, are people who have yet to experience that warm, pink glow known as love.

These doubt-filled people who have never experienced love, honestly and truly see it as a frivolous and silly thing. But it’s not.

There are so many wonderful things to it. In fact, I think it is safe to say that life has no meaning unless you have a man or woman in your life. After all, individuality and independence is so overrated.

That is one of the many things that is so great about V Day. You can finally throw all that individuality nonsense out the window.

It is so great to let your whole life revolve around one person. That’s what Valentine’s Day is all about.

But that is nothing compared to the gifts you can be given when your sweetie pie presents you with tokens of his or her affection.

And the more expensive the gift the better. After all what better way to show you truly care for someone than to shower them with material things.

Those poor souls who insist it’s the thought that counts, oh those poor dears have no idea. It is all about what you have received.

They have to compromise to be in love, but rich people get all the pretty things that come with finding a pumpkin bear on V Day. Gosh, have I mentioned how great it is to be in love?

Of all the things that are great about Valentine’s Day, the greatest is that it can really open a single silly person to the idea that it’s not OK to be alone, and that everyone needs to have a honey bun.

This day of love is all about surrounding yourself in someone else’s love and not letting anything else be a part of your world.

Love songs are another great part about Valentine’s Day. You can hear all the classics by people, such as  Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Adele, Eminem, and of course Snoop Dogg, who know a lot about love and are clearly always in stable relationships.

But with all these great reasons there are still fuddy duddies who refuse to accept the unstoppable force of love.

I wonder why people are so funny when it comes to V Day. What’s not to love?
