The world of fantasy sports has reached brand new heights. We have come to the halfway mark of the fantasy basketball season, which means you’ve either given up on your pathetic team, or you’re looking to make some changes to stay in the hunt.
We at The Californian believe we can provide the necessary tips to help you succeed.
Jodie Meeks, LAL – The Lakers backcourt has been decimated by injuries to guards Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash, Steve Blake, and Jordan Farmar. Expect Meeks to consistently score 15 points per game and is a great source of 3’s.
Timofey Mozgov, DEN – Mozgov’s value is solid with the injury to JaVale McGee. Add Mosgov if you are in need of rebounds, and he can surprise you with a double-double.
Terrence Ross, TOR – Ross became relevant when the Raptors traded Rudy Gay to the Sacramento Kings earlier this month. Ross provides three-point shooting, and he is capable of scoring 20 point per game regularly.
DeMarre Carroll, ATL – Carrol has been a sneaky source of across the board consistency. With the season-ending injury to Al Horford, Carroll should remain a regular in the Hawks lineup. He doesn’t stand out in one particular category, but can subtly help out each week.
Brian Roberts, NO – Injuries to Tyreke Evans, Ryan Anderson and Jrue Holiday will allow Roberts to score with ease. Roberts is a great source of assists and points for the injury-plagued Pelicans.
