Newest immigration reform is favorable for all
For the first time in who knows how long, both the Republicans and Democrats agreed on something, and released a proposal for new immigration reform laws last month.
The new law has been praised as it benefits both sides who have very different opinions about illegal immigration.
This new bill as a good way to reform our immigration policy, as the government can help out many troubled immigrants who have come into this country looking for work. This offers them a pathway to citizenship, while increasing security measures.
The new law will create new border security, such as national guard deployments at the border to make it more difficult for illegal passage into the United States.
According to the White House website, the new law will also allow approximately 11 million immigrants in America to attain citizenship by paying a fine for illegal entry, registering with the government, paying back taxes, and proving that they know English or are learning it.
This will also benefit the country by allowing illegal immigrants to look for work in the United States more easily. They can also start paying taxes, which will benefit the government.
This will also discourage illegal passage, allow students to obtain green cards, and promote education and retraining in certain fields of work.
This will help by making sure the U.S. has an effective work force that is well trained and educated.
Some might argue this new proposal, if passed, would allow immigrants to continue to take American jobs and that they would not learn their lesson.
That is not true because this bill includes a requirement to pay a fine for illegal passage, and requires that illegal immigrants pay back taxes they have avoided by working illegally and without paying taxes on their income.
As for the suggestion that this bill supports illegal immigration, consider the fact that the U.S. will be increasing security with more military personnel as well as utilizing drones to increase protection on the border.
If anything, it would only support legal passage as it would be harder for immigrants to cross the border illegally.
Think about how it benefits those who became illegal immigrants not by choice, but because they were brought to America by their parents at a very young age.
This new proposal would give them a chance to become legal citizens, considering they were brought over without having a say in the matter.
In the end there is no negative side to this proposal. Both sides get what they want, and new opportunities are offered to immigrants.
Everyone benefits under this law, and the sooner it is passed, the better it will be for America.
