Lady Gaga, one of the most confident and unique artists of the 21st century, never fails to steal the limelight. And she continues to do so with her latest single “Judas.”
The title of the song itself is enough to create uproar among those of Christian beliefs, and the lyrics add to the controversy.
In the song, Lady Gaga claims to love Judas, Jesus’ most faithful follower who eventually betrayed him. Hence, Judas is commonly associated with betrayal and Lady Gaga chooses his name to express how she was betrayed.
Although this song has offended many Christians and Catholics with lyrics such as, “I’m just a Holy Fool, oh baby he’s so cruel but still I’m in love with Judas, baby.”
Lady Gaga’s song wasn’t meant to hurt or offend anyone’s beliefs.
She simply wrote this song to express her love for someone who has betrayed her.
Her lyrics may sound as if she is worshiping the devil.
This has led many to believe Gaga is part of the Illuminati, people that hate God, love Satan and want to take over the world.
“I wanna love you, but something’s pulling me away from you, Jesus is my virtue and Judas is the demon I cling to.”
These lyrics have a deeper meaning that explores the soul of a woman.
By this she means, she is with Jesus, the good boyfriend, but she can’t help herself from falling in love with Judas, the bad boy.
Women tend to fall for the bad boy despite knowing it is unhealthy for them, which is exactly what Lady Gaga is talking about.
Lady Gaga’s lyrics are nothing but clever biblical reference.
Even after watching her newly released music video for “Judas” I perceived no hint of her attacking beliefs.
Lady Gaga also makes other biblical allusions with her lyrics in the song.
She sings, “I’ll wash his feet with my hair if he needs it,” which is a reference to Mary Magdalene who washes Jesus’ feet with her hair.
She also sings, “Even after three times he betrays me,” referring to how Peter denies Jesus three times in the Bible.
But after watching multiple Lady Gaga music videos, symbolism of being part of the Illuminati shows up.
This brings me to wonder, is it possible that Lady Gaga does in fact love Satan?
In almost every music video or picture of Gaga her eyes are shaped like the “eye of Horus” or she is doing the “A-okay” sign, which are both Illuminati symbols.
But I have come to the conclusion that Lady Gaga is nothing if not different, and she takes pride in that.
Being unique makes her who she is.
Typically when celebrities are unique and out of the norm, people find controversy in things they do or say.
People tend to look too deep into the uniqueness of Lady Gaga and her music and criticize her confidence in being different.
Because she is unlike any artist out there today, she will continue to be criticized and talked about by the public.
But Lady Gaga is a great role model who just wants everyone to be who they are.
